Translation |
Abstract(E) | In the 2000s, there were many cracks and breakages in wheel hubs on heavy-duty trucks and buses. Some companies had been dealing with it by recall. The production period corresponds almost to the early 1990s, when brake lining materials were made non-asbestos for the health. At that time, brake squeal and jerk brakes occurred frequently. A brake model is investigated to clarify their mechanism. It has been made obvious through the experiment with a test rig that the deformation of the hub equivalent part occurs under the brake jerk phenomenon. |
