Abstract(E) | The paper explains the novel asymmetric E-Machine Design compared to a slate-of-the-art symmetric wound field synchronous machine. For followed ERP calculations a short explanation of a PSM machine is necessary because both machine types are offered in a scalable drive unit concept from Vitesco Technologies. A comparison of different design steps (e.g. skewing, short-pitch-winding) regarding to ERP total level, waterfall plots and order cuts are provided. Furthermore NVH impact of tangential forces is discussed. Al least the inverter operation mode with synchronous and asynchronous PWM scheme is shown and hence their noise level increase. |
