Translation |
Abstract(E) | The inversed-delta injection concept proposed by the authors targets the thermal efficiency improvement of diesel engines by simultaneous reduction of late combustion and wall heat loss. Various TAIZAC (TAndem Injectors Zapping ACtivation) injectors were developed by the authors as handy and effective research tools to realize the inversed-delta injection rate shaping and enhanced injection functionalities. The present paper briefly reviews the inversed-delta injection concept and TAIZAC injector, referring to the research outcomes through SIP Innovative Combustion Technology Program (October 2014 to March 2019) and AICE Project Research (April 2019 to March 2021). |
