Abstract(E) | ShyTech is the new smart home living-style oriented design direction. Key intention is to reduce information load and provide content only when and where necessary. This talk introduces design opportunities, use cases, challenges and technical solutions for premium image quality, natural looking and feeling surface textures, daylight readability and postcard effect avoidance. Main technical focus will be on the ISO luminance, surface transmission and resulting power consumption, optimized colorshift and its impact on the visible displayed content. Finally, conclusions of the user study will be discussed regarding its acceptance level of real or artificial surface materials. |
