| Abstract(J) | 千代田化工では、メチルシクロヘキサン(MCH)を水素エネルギーキャリアに用いるSPERA水素システムの商業化を進めている。この方法では、水素をトルエンと反応させてMCHの分子内に貯蔵することで、常温・常圧の液体として水素を貯蔵輸送することができる方法である。水素利用場所で脱水素反応を行って水素を取り出した際に生成するトルエンは、水素出荷場所に戻されて繰り返し利用する。当社では、この方法を適用した水素ステーションの開発も進めており、火力発電用に大規模に利用されるMCHの一部を水素ステーションでりようすることで、安価で安定した水素ステーションでの水素供給を実現できると考えている。 Translation |
| Abstract(E) | Chiyoda Corporation is commercializing the SPERA hydrogen system, which uses methylcyclohexane (MCH) as a hydrogen energy carrier. In this method, hydrogen is reacted with toluene and stored in the molecule of MCH, which allows hydrogen to be stored and transported as a liquid at room temperature and pressure. The toluene produced when the hydrogen is genarated through dehydrogenation reaction at the hydrogen utilization site is returned to the hydrogen shipping site for repeated use. We are also developing hydrogen stations that apply this method, and we believe that by using some of the MCH that is used on a large scale for thermal power generation at hydrogen stations, we will be able to realize a stable and inexpensive supply of hydrogen at hydrogen Refueling stations. |
