Abstract(E) | The aerodynamic study was carried out through numerical simulation to investigate the influence of aerodynamic pressure drop between the airflow of the condenser and the air intake of the grille on the backflow of PHEV condenser. Results show that driving condition and grille structure have impact on the flow and the pressure drop of cooling module. At idle speed, increasing the grille opening area could reduce the pressure drop, which significantly weaken the backflow and the flow of the condenser. In cruise condition, the area only has little impact on the pressure drop, backflow and flow. |
