Abstract(E) | The world-wide trend for digitalization and impact of connectivity offers the possibility to decrease total cost of ownership with application of modern data science methods. The proposed solution includes data collection and fleet monitoring while in operation by the end-costumer. Modern commercial systems are equipped with connectivity devices and sensors, which send selected information from the vehicle to the Cloud environment of the vehicle manufacturer. The basic concept is, using this large amount of time-series data for analytics services, in order to derive preventive technical actions to mitigate the risk for specific failures and prevent down times of the product. |
