Abstract(E) | Magnetic Sector Mass Spectrometers have been utilized for measuring Hydrogen gas emissions from engine exhaust in fields like catalyst evaluation or hybrid fuel engine development. Common implementations require moisture traps that introduce further uncertainty such as dry to wet corrections. A new hydrogen analyzer has been developed to address both current and projected market demands in engine exhaust applications. This study presents an outline of the analyzer and measurement performance in detail, as well as continuous exhaust emission analyses of Hydrogen formation from an engine using the hydrogen gas analyzer in combination with other gas analyzers. |
