Translation |
| Abstract(E) | Reduction of exhaust gas in engine restart of 100% Electric Drive HEV was examined. Focusing on the control of the amount of oxygen absorbed by each catalyst in the multi-stage three-way catalyst system, oxygen sensors were placed between the catalysts to optimize the target air-fuel ratio. As a result, the HC and NOx conversion rates were greatly improved by the rapid consumption of oxygen in the front-stage catalyst and the retention of oxygen in the post-stage catalyst. |
