| Abstract(E) | Japan is experiencing population aging. Meanwhile, due to increasing automobile dependence and generational changes in driving experience, the proportion of elderly drivers may be increasing at a faster pace. This presentation quantitatively shows the increase in elderly drivers and discusses annual trends in accidents frequently associated with elderly drivers, such as pedal misapplication accidents. |
