Abstract(E) | Upon motorized, power transmission systems would involve significant factors (such as lubrication and friction) relevant to two-phase gas-liquid flow dynamics to be considered in performance design. TRAMI (Transmission Research Association for Mobility Innovation) has been tackling the development of improved computational fluid dynamics based on fundamental principles through experimental and numerical studies using simple rotating objects. We report the outcomes, e.g., relations between the two-phase flow patterns and the torque. |
