Abstract(J)ノズル噴孔数の増加によりディーゼル燃焼の促進が期待できるが,壁面衝突後の噴霧間干渉の顕在化が噴孔数の増加に制約を与えている.そこで交互に異なる傘角度で噴孔を配置した千鳥ノズルを用い,噴霧を中段に設けたリップにより上下に分配する燃焼室に適用して燃焼特性を検討した.CFD解析により噴霧間干渉を抑えて上下各燃焼室に適切に噴霧が分配される燃焼室形状およびノズル諸元を求め,実機に適用してその効果を実証した.

Translation

Abstract(E)A fuel injection nozzle alternately arranged sprays with two spray cone angles and a combustion chamber divided with a lip on the side of the combustion chamber were applied to improve diesel combustion with suppression of mutual interactions among fuel sprays. The results of three-dimensional CFD simulations showed that the combination of the nozzle and the combustion chamber efficiently suppress mutual interactions among fuel sprays and suitably distributes the fuel mixture, resulting in reduction of after-burning and shorter combustion periods. The volume ratio of upper and lower combustion chamber is essential to improve the combustion with reduction of after-burning.
