| Abstract(E) | This presentation will introduce the Ministry of Defense's efforts to address environmental issues, an overview of Japan's security and defense policy, and research on defense equipment being conducted by the Defense Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency and other organizations. The inheritance of technologies from the past and technological developments being undertaken for the near future will be introduced, along with trends in military technology overseas. It will also describe the issues that need to be addressed to strengthen the defense technology base. |
