Translation |
Abstract(E) | The pathway and applied technologies to realize de-fossilization of ICEs haven’t been in the least clear. On one hand, utilization of CN fuels for all ICEs must be essential to reduce CO2 emissions. However, the production of such fuels will be very limited in comparison with the growing demand. On the other hand, better utilization of drop-in CN fuels could have more rooms to significantly reduce exhaust emissions including CO2 by Co-Optimizing engine technologies and fuel properties. If we fully comprehend each fuel property effect, the solution shouldn’t be only one, but will be diversified for each ICE application. |
