| Abstract(E) | We developed the D902-K engine with a new electronic control fuel injection system specialized for IDI combustion diesel engines. By optimizing the characteristics of the sub chamber and the injection system, we achieved over 5% improvement in fuel efficiency and simultaneously achieved invisible smoke emission. Additionally, the crankcase coolant passage was modified to ensure higher durability than current models. |
