| Abstract(E) | Fluctuating wind noise (so-called wuthering noise) caused by atmospheric disturbance spoils passengers’ comfort. To develop comfortable vehicle, it is needed to evaluate and to reduce such wind noise. In this paper, discomfort feeling by several fluctuating wind noise which is ranked by 146 participants is converted to psychological scale by the pairwise comparison method. By comparing this rank, integration of modulation spectrum is found to use as the quantitative metrics. |
