Abstract(E) | In this research, active or semi-active suspensions to increase the ride comfort of high-speed railway vehicles are studied. Railway vehicles always have parameter variations, for example, the vehicle body weight is varied by the number of passengers or the amount of baggage. Therefore robust control systems assuming a reduced order model of the actual plant are designed. Computer simulation using a three-dimensional full-vehicle model is carried out to compare the effects of using I-I, control theory to those of using LQ control theory. In addition, the effect of these suspension systems on ride quality and running stability is examined. |
