Translation |
Abstract(E) | This paper describes the development and validation of an automatic defogging system control. This system consists of an auto defog sensor, an independent actuated defrost door flap toward windshield glass and a control head. In control block diagram are a signal conditioning, a controller, a HVAC and an auto defog sensor. The signal conditioning does filtering and amplifying. In this paper deal with 3 methods of a manipulated signal from sensing humidity- PID, FP(Fog Probability) and IFP(Improved FP). IFP value has both internal and external factors in vehicle. The internal factor is the humidity itself and external factors are ambient, vehicle speed, air bleeding speed and ventilation patterns. So, the parameters could be calibrated independently by IFP bias term. Because the comfort and compatibility is as important as safety, it is recommended to avoid so hot or cold air bleeding forward face as passengers recognize and its design concept are shown. The windshield humidity was controlled under a certain level and windshield glass kept clear during idle and driving. |
