Abstract(E) | To successfully achieve heavy-duty truck platooning, it is essential to improve the developmental speed of the control system. This study applies model-based development (MBD) to truck platooning and improves the reproducibility of vehicle dynamics trends. Requirements are defined in the application of the model-in-the-loop simulation (MILS) and the hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) in MBD to truck platooning. Based on these requirements, the MILS and HILS are constructed. The MILS and HILS reproduce the inputs and outputs and improve the trends of steering characteristics during gain adjustment when the steering model is introduced. |
