| Abstract(E) | Traffic Jam Pilot is a level 3 ADS（automated driving system）that performs the complete DDT（dynamic driving task）under congested traffic on access controlled national expressways where pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles are prohibited to enter. In order for the system to complete the DDT in place of the human driver, high performance objectives need to be met. Achieving the objectives were made possible by enhancing the performance of sensor fusion technology, position estimation technology, and predictive control technology. |
