Translation |
Abstract(E) | In addition to optical and radio wave methods such as cameras, LiDAR, and millimeter-wave radar, methods that use mechanical vibrations and electrical changes caused by the interaction with the tires have been proposed to detect road surface conditions. This paper introduce a new sensing method that focuses on the fact that the potential fluctuation, called quasi-electrostatic field, generated in a vehicle during driving is caused by the electrical characteristics of the road surface. |
