Abstract(E) | As autonomous driving technology advances and legislation around it is revised, the most pressing problem is to resolve who would be responsible for any accident that may occur, particularly in Level 4 autonomous driving. Aiming for further social acceptance toward autonomous driving, this paper examines how non-life insurance companies provide automobile insurance and related services from the viewpoint of ELSI(ethical, legal, and social issues/implications). It is necessary to ensure financial relief for traffic accident victims and to analyze the accumulated driving data to improve the insurance products. |
