Translation |
Abstract(E) | Adapting HEV systems to compact vehicles necessitates making the drive motor more compact. Making it more compact reduces the heat capacity so that it ends up generating more heat. Cooling performance therefore needs to be enhanced and losses need to be reduced. Loss was reduced by adopting technology to reduce copper loss and iron loss. By evolving the motor control, both loss reduction and quietness have been achieved. As a result, it was possible to reduce the size and loss by 14% compared to the conventional motor. |
