| Abstract(E) | This report shows the summary of fabricating braided tubes using unidirectional (UD) tapes of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) and press forming them. We also report the results of investigations on the braiding conditions (braid angle, axial yarn, cover factor, etc.) and press conditions (press temperature, press pressure, etc.) those affect the mechanical properties of braid – press tubes. In addition, some application examples of this braid – press CFRTP method will be introduced. |
