Translation |
Abstract(E) | With the electrification of automobiles, cabins have evolved into advanced interior designs, and the energy of vehicle components has been minimized. HVAC has redesigned its traditional semi-center layout to come up with a full-center layout. To realize this HVAC, a turbo fan was adopted. In order to solve the problem of noise, the noise source was identified by visualizing the actual rotating fan blade flow, and the flow separation in the blade was controlled using unsteady CFD. As a result, the blower volume decreased by 40%, the specific noise level decreased by 2dB, and the power consumption decreased by 30%. |
