Abstract(J)ディーゼルエンジンの排出ガスは,高過給と広域多量EGRにより大幅に低減できる.燃料マルチ噴射によりその効果を高め,更に燃費率の改善を試みた.中負荷領域でプレ噴射とアフター噴射を行い,熱発生率を分割してピーク値を抑え,高圧燃料噴射により燃焼期間の遅延を防ぐ.また,燃焼撮影により混合気形成改善を確認した.

Translation

Abstract(E)The authors utilized pre and after injection to split the heat release for decreasing peak cylinder gas temperature as a strategy. The experiments were conducted in a single cylinder diesel engine for heavy-duty use and operated at BMEP = 0.8 MPa of middle load. The injection timings and quantity of each injection events were changed as parameters. As a result, a multi-injection pattern simultaneously reduced exhaust emissions and the fuel consumption and improved further by the nozzle optimization. The flame movements of the multi-injection in cylinder were observed by means of a high-speed camera and a bore scope.
