Abstract(E) | The suppression of knocking is one of the important issues for improving the efficiency of internal combustion engines. It is known from previous studies that NOx in recirculated exhaust gas contributes to the autoignition timing, and the effect on the autoignition timing varies depending on the amount of NOx and the atmospheric conditions. However, the detailed mechanism is still unclear. In this study, research on the elementary reaction of NOx based on reaction kinetics and a discussion of the effect of NOx addition using a modified reaction mechanism are reported. |
