| Abstract(E) | A new 3.0 liter V6 engine by adoption of intelligent variable valve timing(WT-i) system, acoustic control induction system, active control engine mount system, etc., the new 1MZ-FE, has been developed for new generation sport utility vehicle. Through these advanced technologies, the new 1 MZ-FE has achieved high output torque in the low to medium speed range, good fuel economy and quietness. Furthermore, this engine has achieved low exhaust emission levels by adoption of accurate exhaust gas feedback control system, 3-way catalyst, etc.. This new 1MZ-FE engine is installed in the new sport utility vehicle HARRIER. |
