| Abstract(E) | A composite texture pattern of nano size and micro size is added to the DLC surface of the valve lifter surface, which is an engine valve system component, to further reduce friction. Through the sensitivity evaluation of two different size texture patterns, we report the mechanism of friction reduction mechanism from the viewpoint of tribo film formation on the sliding surface. |
