| Abstract(E) | When utilizing optimization CFD for efficient cooling design of automobile front ends, the use of a full vehicle model ensures high prediction accuracy and is easily reflected in drawings. However, excessive computational cost has been an issue. In this study, we propose a method to reduce the computational cost and efficiently study the cooling structure by using variable fidelity CFD and proper orthogonal decomposition. |
