Translation |
Abstract(E) | Theoretical study was conducted on the process that vehicle body members transform the vibration input to the suspension to the vehicle body floor panel vibration that radiates road noise. Consideration of warping and shear center offset were found to be able to explain the process in which simple vertical and/or back and forth excitation inputs change to combined bending and torsion vibration of the body structural members. This study showed the direction of road noise design improvement. |
