Translation |
Abstract(E) | KPC is a control concept of vehicle dynamics which integrates suspension geometries and longitudinal tire forces. The first mass-production KPC is developed for suppressing the vehicle body’s heave and encouraging a sense of ease. During cornering, jack-up forces make its heave large, which makes drivers nervous. The method equips a rear suspension with anti-lift geometry and controls the rear brake of its inner wheel. The rear brake force involves a down force for the vehicle body. That is to say, the proposed control concept incorporates its hardware specifications. Additionally, we evaluated effects of the control with a mass-production car. |
