Abstract(E) | Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) have come into practical use, and their technologies are advancing rapidly. When considering ADAS systems that support their autonomic lane change trigger, technical difficulty is how to make lane change decisions, considering ego’s various surrounding situations, such as geometric features, destination, surrounding vehicles, and arbitrating various demands that come from each surrounding feature. This paper shows decision making of lane change timing in which the driver can intervene in driving if the system explicitly requires it, to realize a safe, secure, and comfortable Lv.2 ADAS. |
