Translation |
| Abstract(E) | This study investigates how pedestrians recognize a vehicle’s yielding intention from its deceleration behavior at unsignalized crosswalks. Focusing on behavioral conditions such as the vehicle’s initial speed and deceleration start position, the effects of these differences on pedestrian perception are analyzed through real-vehicle experiments. The objective of this study is to clarify the characteristics of deceleration behavior that make a vehicle’s yielding intention difficult for pedestrians to recognize. |
