Translation |
| Abstract(E) | Biofuels have attracted attention as a means of improving the exhaust performance of diesel engines. In particular, HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) has a high hydrogen content due to hydrotreatment. This characteristic promotes the reaction between hydrogen in the fuel and oxygen in the air, resulting in an earlier ignition onset. In this study, we confirmed that HVO exhibits an earlier ignition timing than that of diesel fuel. |
