| Abstract(E) | A key challenge of hybrid powertrains is the scalability to the demands of different applications and market requirements. Based on a powertrain and engine platform, connected to a manufacturing, machining and assembly landscape the paper shows the advances of a modular powertrain technology approach, utilizing the existing production and development facilities. Different combinations of engine power ratings, e-drive, battery, transmission and hybrid powertrain variants, with the feasibility to integrate different technology packages are covered. |
