| Abstract(E) | In commercializing the world's first compression ignition gasoline engine (SKYACTIV-X) that contributes to the CO2 reduction, the challenges were to keep warm to maximize the engine performance and to suppress noise that is louder than conventional engines. In response to this, we established an encapsulation concept that encloses the entire engine, precisely derived the necessary parts, and realized an efficient structure to overcome the issues. |
