Translation |
Abstract(E) | To reduce NOx emitted from diesel engines, EGR operating condition is required to be expanded into cold start conditions. However, the deposits are formed and saturated in EGR system, when the EGR was used under the relatively cold temperature condition, which are serious problems. Although the deposit formation mechanism has been studied to investigate the way of the reduction of the deposits, the deposit saturation mechanism has not been examined. In this study, the saturation mechanism of deposit was evaluated. As a result, it is found EGR gastemperature and flow rate played important roles in the deposit saturation. |
