Abstract(E) | A new 3.3-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine has been developed. In addition to the high power realized by its large displacement, the combination of the large displacement and a new combustion method devised in pursuit of ideal combustion has achieved the world’s highest. level of thermal efficiency and clean emissions in a wide operating range. The engine is therefore able to deliver “driving pleasure” enhanced by its six-cylinder sound and strong torque and “outstanding environmental performance” thanks to its distinguishingly low fuel consumption. |
