抄録(英) | This paper carries out a comprehensive study of different actuation schemes and control approaches for active steering of railway vehicles. The study concentrates on active steering techniques for rail vehicles with axled wheelsets including the solid-axle wheelsets and independently-rotating wheelsets, but wheel-pairs without axles are also briefly mentioned. Various actuation configurations are discussed, and advantages and drawbacks of those schemes are investigated. A number of control methods including modern controllers and classical intuitively-formulated controllers are studied, and their performances are assessed. Potential benefits of the use of a combination of modem control technology and mechatronic approach are demonstrated, and in particular solutions for the difficult design trade-off between the stability and the curving performance are presented. Overall the paper provides an authoritative assessment of actively-steered wheelsets, including practicalities such as actuation and sensing requirements. 翻訳 |
