抄録(英) | Traffic accidents that occurred when crossing a road accounted for approximately 53% of all collision-type traffic accidents. Analyzing the behavior patterns of pedestrians when they cross the road becomes not to be ignored. This work present the design and set-up a pedestrian-oriented roadway crossing system using virtual reality (VR) technology and a head-mounted display, which is used to analyze pedestrian behavior through experiments. The Oculus Quest 2 based virtual reality crossing road simulation described in this work is an immersive 3D virtual reality simulator, which gives the pedestrian a near-realistic crossing experience. Through the experiments, we quantitatively analyze the impact of pedestrians' decision-making on their crossing behavior under different road environments, weather conditions and velocity of approach. 翻訳 |
