| 抄録（英） | Toyota has developed a new pre-crash safety system with collision avoidance assist for pedestrian detection. This system uses a millimeter wave radar and a stereo camera to judge the probability of collision, and helps the driver to avoid a collision by automatically braking the vehicle. This system can also be used at all times, regardless of day or night. This article describes the core technology for achieving this system, including the brake control technology that enables the vehicle to help avoid a collision, and the recognition technology that is capable of detecting pedestrians walking across a road. 翻訳 |
