抄録(英) | In order to reduce fatalities or serious injuries in traffic accidents, serious abdominal injuries were focused. Considering the analysis results of individual variabilities of human skeletal alignment and pelvic shape, multiple human body models were created. From the analysis of occupant kinematics in a collision, influential factors for seatbelt kinematics were identified. Based on this study, three new technologies were constructed: a new seat design to achieve the S-shaped posture, a seat-integrated lap belt anchor to reduce pelvic rotation, and the knee airbag to sustain the occupant in position while limiting the force into the abdomen.
