| 抄録（英） | This study investigated the influence of animation displays through a V2X system on drivers' behaviors to inform them of the existence of vulnerable road users (VRUs) at intersections with poor visibility. Twenty-eight drivers participated in the driving simulator experiment and experienced an event in which VRUs suddenly appeared at an intersection. Before the VRUs became visible, the participants were given information about their appearance through either animation or a static display. The results showed that the animation display induced drivers' responses to VRUs more quickly than the static display. The results also revealed that the animation display was equivalent to the static display in terms of the lateral displacement of the vehicle, even though the total glance times at the animation display were longer than those at the static display. The authors discussed the features of the animation display to inform drivers about the existence of VRUs at intersections with poor visibility. 翻訳 |
