抄録(英) | In this study, the impact of E85 fuel is investigated on the exhaust air pollutant emissions as well as the fuel economy of a conventional light-duty vehicle. Portable emission measurement system (PEMS) along with an on-board diagnostics (OBD) connection module is used to measures the emissions and monitor the operation of the vehicle under real-driving conditions. The results showed that while volumetric fuel consumption was increased by an average of 23%, CO2 emissions were decreased by an average of 10%. CO emissions were reduced by 73%, and NOx emissions were increased six folds when E85 used. 翻訳 |
