抄録(英) | Metallic Partial-Flow Diesel Particulate Filter Fibers were coated using RF Sputtering with CeO2 for the purpose of catalyzing the oxidation of diesel soot particles trapped on the fibers. The coating process was a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Method using a cerium oxide target. The coated filter was then compared with the noncoated filter in terms of chemical structure with X-ray diffraction analysis and oxidation with thermogravimetric analysis using carbon black and diesel soot from a small engine. The coated filter showed it was coated with Ceria using PVD and that it could reduce the activation energy of oxidizing the soots. 翻訳 |
