抄録(英) | This study proposes to formulate new grease from bio-resources with good lubricity and mechanical stability. The bio-grease was formulated from non-edible vegetable oils with beeswax thickener and hBN nanoadditive. Taguchi-based Grey Relational Analysis was employed to determine the optimum formulation of bio-grease. The lubricity and mechanical stability were performed using a four-ball tribometer. The results show that the base oil is the prominent factor that affects the friction and mechanical stability loss of bio-grease. The bio-grease containing 5 wt. % thickener in castor oil resulted in the lowest COF (0.04) and the longest time (13,200 sec) for mechanical stability loss. 翻訳 |
