抄録(英) | Aging brains are assessed for brain atrophy and white matter hyperintensities using MRI. Elucidating the relationship between aging brains and driving safety performance (DSP) in healthy older drivers revealed that the degree of progression of aging brains is significantly associated with DSP degradation. Therefore, MRI examinations may identify older drivers with dangerous driving behaviors, and the control of aging brains may help prevent DSP degradation.
