抄録(英) | This work investigates the effects of laminar flame speed (SL) correlations on prediction accuracy improvement of a phenomenological combustion submodel in a 0D/1D simulation software. Predicted data from conventional and novel SL correlations for the SIP five-component gasoline surrogate are validated against measured data from constant volume chamber experiments at reference and elevated pressure and temperature. The novel SL is more suitable than the conventional ones because it is well validated against the measured and kinetically predicted data, especially under an ultra-lean mixture. Measured combustion characteristics are taken from an advanced long-stroke, CR15 spark-ignited gasoline engine equipped with a high tumble port adaptor. The predictive capability of the combustion model is improved using the novel SL relative to the conventional SL. Under the highly efficient operating condition (Lambda 2), sensitivity analysis of the combustion model coupled with the novel SL also presents a good agreement with engine measurements under cyclic variations. 翻訳 |
