抄録(英) | There are large disparities in various predictions and potential scenarios describing the future global energy system and how it will evolve over the coming decades. In the United States, coupled to this lack of clarity is high uncertainty on the course of energy policy – dramatic shifts can occur with each election and there is little or no progress toward developing a robust long-term national strategy. Under these conditions, planning for technology development involves a careful assessment of the various risks, as well as the approach taken to avoid, mitigate, or adapt to these risks. In this talk the various global energy scenarios, the likely role of diesel engines in future transport and off-road applications (marine, construction, agriculture, and power generation), and the potential risks to the diesel 翻訳 |
